Sustainable materials for packaging, printing, and industrial use.

Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft Pulp (NBSK)

  • Produced from northern coniferous trees, such as pine and spruce
  • Long fibres contribute strength, tear resistance, and bonding in the paper
  • Fibers are slender and collapse well during the sheet formation, which helps with sheet smoothness
  • Generally, needs less refining energy
  • Used in a variety of applications — printing & writing papers, tissue, packaging and specialty grades.

Northern Bleached Hardwood Kraft Pulp (NBHK)

  • Produced made mainly from northern hardwood species such as aspen, birch, maple, or poplar
  • Short fibres give the pulp good surface formation, smooth surface, opacity and bulk
  • Fibres are shorter giving softness and uniformity but lower tensile and tear strength compared to softwood pulps (like NBSK).
  • Offers high, good cleanliness, and stable colour with low brightness reversion.
  • Used in printing & writing papers, coated papers, tissue, and specialty grades

Bleached Eucalyptus Kraft Pulp (BEK)

  • Produced mainly from eucalyptus species, valued for its uniform fibre structure and high yield
  • Short fibres provide excellent formation, softness, opacity and bulk with smooth sheet surfaces
  • Typical fibre length gives superior surface quality softness, but lower strength compared to long-fibre pulps
  • Offers high brightness, excellent cleanliness and stable optical properties with minimal yellowing
  • Used in tissue, coated and uncoated fine papers, printing and writing grades, and specialty papers requiring softness and formation quality

Unbleached Kraft Pulp (UKP)

  • Produced from pine or spruce, a chemical softwood pulp that is not bleached
  • Long fibres give very high strength properties – particularly tensile, tear and burst
  • Colour ranges from light to dark brown, depending on cooking and washing intensity
  • Used mainly in kraft paper, sack paper, linerboard, corrugating medium, and speciality industrial paper where strength matters more than whiteness
